[Shirobon - Obsession]

This is without a doubt my new favorite song so far in 2025, I can't believe I JUST found this, where do I even begin.

I'm a big fan of the Daft Punk; Synthpop sound to it, the lyrics and voices are really ominous and alien-like while still managing to tell a story that compliments the beats well throughout the song, I love the random exhales the female singer does throughout the first half, it works really well lyrically while also going well with the rhythm.

The production value is some of the best I've EVER heard in music, it's a great mix of intense, calm, and fast, with the constant beat switch-ups in between, I absolutely adore this specific beat switch-up at 1:58, it sends me every time I hear it, I can't get enough of it.

The beat switch-ups, the breakdowns, the vocals, this song is my "Obsession" that I cannot get enough of.

Absolutely amazing stuff Shirobon.
(I heavily recommend using a good pair of headphones to listen to this)
